Performance Coordinator

This is a key leadership role in the school's performing arts programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering student participation, engagement and opportunities in music, dance and drama.

The Performance Coordinator will lead a team of specialist teachers, supporting and coordinating a wide range of extra-curricular activities including musicals, variety nights, choirs, band programs, ensembles and drama productions.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum resources, managing budgets and working with staff to deliver high-quality performances.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum resources for performing arts programs
  • Manage budgets and oversee logistics for events
  • Lead a team of specialist teachers to deliver high-quality performances
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement new programs and initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
  • Experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
