Security Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy.
  • Manage and monitor cybersecurity systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Respond to security incidents and breaches, providing timely updates to senior management.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the business.
  • Evaluate and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet our security standards.
  • Provide regular security updates and training to employees.
  • Establish relationships with regulatory bodies to stay informed about the latest developments and trends.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in information security management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience with risk management, incident response, and forensic investigations.
  • Strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
