You will design, deliver and embed a comprehensive risk operating model across the organisation. Your primary objectives are to strengthen the control environment and sustainably reduce material risk exposures.

  • Efficiently manage incidents and issues, ensuring timely resolution and remediation.
  • Provide high-quality management information and achieve target state outcomes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of first-line risk management functions, embedding obligations into policies, procedures and controls.
  • Foster a strong risk culture, educating teams on risk management principles and aligning efforts with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with Group Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to monitor legislative changes and recommend initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned professional with extensive experience in leading a first-line business risk management function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering contemporary risk management models within the superannuation or other highly regulated financial services industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of superannuation and insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
