About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with experience in maintenance, engineering, or resource industries. As part of the MSG team, you will improve equipment maintenance through core processes of maintenance strategy development, governance, and optimization.

  • Maintenance Strategy Governance Specialists: Govern maintenance strategies for production and safety-critical equipment across BHP operations.
  • Asset Health Developers and Evaluators: Create and manage asset health policies and resulting actions to eliminate defects and prevent failures.
  • Data Analytics & Systems: Manage and improve a suite of in-house and enterprise solutions to support global maintenance governance.

  • Deep understanding of the maintenance ecosystem, including Engineering, Projects, and Operations.
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant trade experience.
  • Adaptability to change and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple deliverables across stakeholders.
  • A focus on continuous improvement and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), including FMECA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Asset Performance Management (APM), Downtime Accounting Systems (DAS), and CMMS systems (e.g., 1SAP).
Location and Roster

This role can be based in our Australia corporate offices in Brisbane, Adelaide, or Perth. You will work on a Monday-Friday roster with flexible work options available.
