This role is a crucial part of the finance team, providing support across corporate and operating asset entities in the Asia Pacific region.
The team aims to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and operating businesses to drive performance, generate value, and offer expert financial guidance.
The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the finance function to be best-in-class and assist in financial due diligence workstreams for potential acquisitions and divestments.
- Deliver high-quality FP&A reporting, including timely forecasting, operational analysis, capital project evaluation, and KPI tracking for Asia Pacific operating entities.
- Assist in annual business planning, preparing and analyzing financial models under supervision.
- Prepare quarterly business valuation models, including sensitivity analysis and benchmarking.
- Support the review and compilation of financial reporting submissions by operating businesses.
- Develop a deep understanding of operating businesses to inform analysis and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to technical accounting memorandums under supervision.
- Provide support on due diligence, new acquisition onboarding, and divestiture activities.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, debt covenant monitoring, and financing support across operating businesses.
- Help identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes.
- Support the preparation of financial statements for corporate holding entities and related reconciliations.
- Assist with external or regulatory reporting requirements.
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduation work experience.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with core corporate finance principles, including financial modeling and valuations.
- Previous experience in aggregating and consolidating financial reports.
- Previous experience in acquisition and disposal accounting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with sound problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
- Interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with teams.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Effective communication skills.
