Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our trade team, overseeing the delivery of maintenance solutions across various services.

This role involves managing a team of qualified technicians and ensuring the efficient use of resources to meet Labour Utilisation Targets.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Senior Qualified Tradesperson, with trade qualifications and extensive relevant experience in HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, or Plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of contractual obligations and ensure that contractual KPIs are achieved.
  • Lead and manage a team of qualified technicians.
  • Efficiently utilize labor resources to deliver services within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with internal client groups.
  • Oversee daily operations of technicians, reviewing reports and assisting the State Manager as required.
  • Liaise with Facilities Managers to efficiently carry out tasks and services under the terms of the contract.
  • Drive and influence a strong Safety culture, ensuring WHS policies and procedures are met, maintained, and audited across the region.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior Qualified Tradesperson.
  • Trade qualification and extensive relevant experience in HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, or Plumbing.
  • A team-focussed, collaborative, and inclusive leadership style.
  • Ability to understand commercial elements of Trade Services and Operations, including cost estimates, quoting, and scheduling.
  • Professional communication skills and demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Digital Work Order Management Systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible, innovative approach.
  • White Card and Drivers License.
