Job Summary:

Casual academics play a vital role in supporting pedagogical development and enhancing student learning experiences. The appointed academic will collaborate closely with the unit coordinator to design and deliver teaching content for a large first-year unit focused on contemporary business communication challenges.

The unit introduces students to foundational ideas about communication, ethics, and culture in contemporary business settings. As part of this role, you will contribute to embedding First Nations perspectives, critical reflection, and applied learning through real-world contexts into course content and activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting tutors by preparing guides, notes, and clarifications for relevant modules
  • Developing and delivering lecture content, tutorial activities, or weekly learning materials aligned with unit learning outcomes
  • Contributing to the inclusion of global First Nations perspectives in unit content

You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to unit planning, review, and continuous improvement.
