Job Title: Masonry Instructor

Lead College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced masonry instructor to lead training sessions for aspiring international students. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, industry experience, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment for students enrolled in masonry programs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Conduct practical and theoretical training sessions in a real or simulated environment.
  • Assess student competencies in accordance with the training package requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records using aXcelerate.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and licensing requirements.
  1. Requirements:
  • A relevant trade qualification in masonry (e.g., Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying).
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in masonry.
  • Proven experience in delivering vocational education and training.
  • Proficiency in using aXcelerate or similar student management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
