Role Overview

Seed Heritage is seeking an experienced Global Production Specialist to lead the product development process and drive our production operations forward.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience.

Job Description

  • Critical Path Management: Collaborate with designers to develop new product styles, focusing on components that impact margin or styling.
  • Technical Pack Preparation: Prepare and distribute supplier technical packs with fabrication swatches, embellishments, and references for quotations.
  • Sample Fitting and Measurement: Conduct sample fittings, create base size measurements, and complete full-size range specifications.
  • Negotiations and Supply Chain Management: Conduct cost negotiations with suppliers, focusing on target margins and delivery dates.
  • Production Scheduling and Tracking: Manage seasonal critical path timeframes and maintain accurate production schedules.
  • Communication and Quality Control: Communicate regularly with suppliers to ensure timely development and manufacturing, address quality control issues immediately, and communicate findings internally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with offshore production.
  • Experience with both cut and sew and woven products.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Production and/or Quality Control.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, size specifications, and fitting garments.
  • Excellent prioritisation and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
