Key Responsibilities
  • We provide individualised support to clients based on their personalised care plans, helping them achieve independence and confidence in daily living activities.
  • Our team assists clients with essential daily tasks such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming, promoting overall well-being and self-care.
  • Transportation assistance is offered to clients, facilitating their participation in community activities and social events.
  • Respite care is provided to both clients and their families, offering a much-needed break and allowing for rest and relaxation.
  • Overnight or sleepover care is also available, ensuring that clients receive continuous support throughout the night.
  • Our trained staff administer medication according to established policies and procedures, prioritising client safety and health.
  • Accurate records of client care plans and progress are maintained by our dedicated team, enabling informed decision-making and effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in disability care principles and practices.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is essential, showcasing empathy and understanding of the complexities involved.
  • A deep comprehension of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its guidelines is necessary, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, enabling seamless collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
