About the Role

The successful candidate will provide field-based health, safety, and environmental coordination and oversight on a major project for several contracts executing work on civils & underground and electrical room tie-ins to an LNG plant. The role will support field execution activities including installation and pre-commissioning until project completion.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field or significant experience in health and safety.
  • At least 5 years of experience in H&S collaborating with contractors to deliver health and safety performance outcomes.
  • Experience working in a civil, construction, and/or oil and gas environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the implementation of a project safety culture.
  • Experience in an operational LNG plant with construction activities, heavy/critical lifting, HV electrical, and/or commissioning environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in contractor HSE management and/or execution of field-based activities on BWI or offshore would be beneficial for this role.

  • Lead incident investigation and reporting for all on-island related incidents.
  • Maintain liaison and communications between J-IC HSE and other major capital project HSE functions on BWI.
