Job Opportunity: Qualified Chef

We are seeking a qualified part-time chef for an immediate start at our venue overlooking the harbour.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve high-quality dishes to customers during busy periods, including breakfast and lunch daily, and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

  • Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet our quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements: Must have certification in commercial cookery, preferably CERT 3 or 4. Must be available to work 7 days a week, including Friday and Saturday night.

Working Conditions and Pay: The hourly pay rate is based on Cook Grade 3 or 4, including penalty rates depending on skill level. The minimum weekly hours are 26, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. More hours may be available during busy periods and the Spring/Summer season.

Schedule Flexibility: Weekly working periods are negotiable, with options for Wed - Sun or Fri - Tue. Consecutive rostered days off will be provided.
