Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst Role

This is a unique opportunity for technically strong professionals to step into live deal execution and strategic advisory, supporting and leading across origination, strategy, buyer and seller engagement, negotiation, and execution.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Transaction Services, Valuations, or Corporate Finance, with strong financial acumen and a desire to build deep M&A capability. The role offers hands on deal execution experience, exposure to origination, negotiation, and strategic client advisory, daily learning from senior M&A leaders, and a collaborative, growth focused culture that values initiative, communication, and progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead across live deals including origination, strategy, buyer and seller engagement, negotiation, and execution.
  • Work directly with respected leaders in the Australian mid-market deal space.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a tight knit, high performing group delivering end to end mandates across sectors.

Requirements:

  • CA or CFA qualified (or in progress), with strong financial acumen and a desire to build deep M&A capability.
  • Commercially minded, emotionally intelligent operators who thrive in client facing settings.
  • Professionals from Transaction Services, Valuations, or Corporate Finance ready to expand their scope into full transaction work.
