Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Hanes Brands Australasia. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for coordinating all tax compliance obligations and providing tax advice to the Hanes Australasia Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of income tax returns, tax reporting, PAYG, Transfer Pricing documentation, BAS, FBT returns, and withholding tax payments.
  • Provide a full range of tax advice, including income tax, GST, FBT, and international tax.
  • Assist in tax reviews/audits, Research & Development claims, business acquisitions/disposals, and maintain tax governance processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Maintain the document management system for the tax group and commit to ongoing taxation training.
Requirements
  • An accounting degree and CA or CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or Large Corporate.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Loads of initiative with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders effectively.
