Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to contribute to the development of our workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time position based at our South Brisbane Campus, where you will provide expert guidance on human resources and employee relations matters to senior managers and stakeholders across the Brisbane region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to transformation and cultural change by modelling our established values: Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
  • Provide timely support and advice on employee relations issues, HR administration, employee complaints, ethical behaviour, performance management, investigations, mediations and related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policy and statutory requirements related to employee relations and HR management; implement and maintain reporting mechanisms to monitor and evaluate performance.
  • Prepare correspondence, briefing materials and reports for senior staff on workforce relations issues.
  • Establish networks with clients, officers from other agencies, unions and external bodies to promote and monitor contemporary HR management issues.
  • Undertake ongoing research and analysis of contemporary HR practices and policies at a whole-of-government level, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Coordinate planning, development and implementation of HR projects supporting regional initiatives and objectives.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding the services provided by our team.
  • Prepare recommendations, strategies and performance indicators to facilitate project outcomes.
