Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Language Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a second language to primary students and contributing to the school's mission of providing an innovative, holistic, and student-centred education.


About the Role

This is a 3 day a week position with the potential to expand to 4 days in 2027. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside industry-renowned educators and leaders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to curriculum design and implementation, ensuring it meets the academic standards of the Australian Curriculum for French as a second language.
  • Foster collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement in language teaching.
  • Teach French classes across various year levels, demonstrating exemplary teaching practices and setting a high standard for student engagement and achievement in language learning.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to encourage students' interest in the French language and culture, promoting literacy and communication skills.

Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is required.
  • Additional qualifications in educational leadership or management are highly desirable.
  • Ongoing professional development in the field of French language teaching and education.
