Medical Scientist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Scientist to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent scientific knowledge and technical expertise to contribute to the provision of quality pathology services in a regional laboratory setting.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology services, including participation in problem definition, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • Undertake various diagnostic techniques and facilitate scientific and technical knowledge and expertise to perform routine diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop, select, and adopt new techniques and methodologies with supervision, contributing to the advancement of our laboratory services.

The successful candidate will work primarily based at Mt Barker Hospital, overseeing the SA Pathology POCT suite, while also requiring shifts at Murray Bridge multi-discipline laboratory under the direction of the Murray Bridge Laboratory Manager.

Key Requirements
  • Preference for experience, but training will be provided in all disciplines.
  • Relocation reimbursement can be sought in line with relevant guidelines.
