Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production process, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections of cast products to ensure compliance with specifications. You will also inspect products after remedial works and verify the correct placement of steam recording equipment before and after casting.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all steam lines are correctly placed at mould setup time;
  • Completing initial quality issue reports and passing them to the QA Officer for entry into the QSI database;
  • Raising QSIs for all quality-related issues and non-conformances;
  • Participating in root cause analyses and identifying long-term corrective actions;
  • Minimizing reject and waste (wire, concrete, labor) during manufacture by ensuring quality standards are met during manufacture.
