Job Title:

Library Experience and Programs Coordinator

The Library Experience and Programs Coordinator will be accountable for the provision and coordination of effective Library Services that support prioritization of high-quality customer service and the delivery of contemporary customer experience and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and direction to support team collaboration and effective service delivery, focusing on customer experience and programs.
  • Lead the delivery of library customer experience excellence, including front-line customer service provisions and visual merchandising in line with Council's Customer Service Charter and relevant processes.
  • Coordinate and lead the delivery of best practice contemporary library programming (children and adult) to support community reading, information, recreational, and life-long learning needs in accordance with Library service levels.
  • Develop strategies to promote Library Services and programs to existing and potential customers, ensuring increased attendance, membership, and community value.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for program collaborations, models of delivery, and outreach services provision.
