We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Horticulture specialists. As a key member of our garden centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advice on all aspects of horticulture.

Your primary role will be to ensure the outdoor nursery area is well-maintained, organized and presented in a visually appealing manner. You will also be responsible for assisting customers with their gardening needs and providing expert knowledge on plant identification and care.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a passion for horticulture and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on all aspects of horticulture
  • Maintain the outdoor nursery area in a clean and organized condition
  • Assist customers with their gardening needs and provide solutions to any problems they may be experiencing
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth

Requirements:

  • A Horticulture Certificate II or III (or equivalent qualification)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for horticulture and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
