Skilled Meat Worker Job Description

As a skilled boner and slicer, you will be responsible for trimming, cutting, boning and slicing. You will also clean and sterilize work areas and equipment.

Key Opportunities
  • This is a full-time casual position with ongoing opportunities for upskilling and on-site training.
  • Overtime and weekend work are available.

Casual rates start from $29.10 per hour, with different rates for learner/boner/slaughterman, slicer - one cut, slicer - all cuts, and on the chain positions.

Requirements
  • You must have experience as a meat slicer/boner.
  • You must pass a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test.
  • You must be Q-Fever vaccinated or willing to receive the vaccination.
