Job Title: Counter Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Retail Counter Manager to lead our team of Sales Associates at Sydney International Airport. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and coaching skills, gained in a fast-paced retail environment.



This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious individual to be the Chief Executive Officer of their own store, with total accountability for creating and executing a business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, and exceptional customer relationship management.




  • Proven retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Previous business planning experience, including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and coach a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets
* Create and execute a business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting and impactful in-store events
* Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
* Manage inventory and facilities, and perform cash reconciliation
* Lead a team to achieve sales and customer service targets

Requirements:

* Proven retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics
* Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
* Previous business planning experience, including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
* Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
* Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
* Experience of creating and executing in-store events
* Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment
* Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
