Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Demand Inputs: Collaborate with Business Unit Account managers to gather accurate demand data and ensure timely delivery of forecasts.
  2. System Health: Monitor and maintain the baseline forecast system, ensuring statistical forecast generation and accuracy.
  3. Account Intelligence: Work closely with Business Unit Account managers to gather insights and drive business decisions.
  4. Product Lifecycle Input: Provide accurate and timely input for new product launches, transitions, and deletions.
  5. Key Customer Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key customers to align assumptions and drive business growth.
  6. Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and manage risks and opportunities to the plan, ensuring cost-effective S&OP input.
  7. Handover Process: Coordinate the handover process between S&OP and S&OE, ensuring seamless transition.
  8. S&OP Demand Process: Manage the S&OP demand process for the Business Unit, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  9. Portfolio Management: Facilitate the portfolio management process, providing key outputs for decision-making.
  10. Budget Volume Build: Coordinate the budget volume build by Business Unit, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the demand and overall supply chain process.
Key Objectives
  1. Delivery of Demand and Portfolio Processes: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of demand and portfolio processes within S&OP for the Business Unit.
  2. WMAPE Reduction: Achieve a weighted mean absolute percentage error (WMAPE) reduction of forecast overrides.
  3. Service Metrics: Meet service metrics as defined by the S&OP process.
  4. Working Capital Reduction: Drive working capital (inventory) reduction through stock reduction.
  5. Forecast Accuracy: Ensure accurate forecasts to suppliers.
  6. Continuous Improvement Programs: Deliver continuous improvement programs to enhance numerical metrics.
Key Selection Criteria
  1. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L relationships.
  2. Demand Planning Experience: 3+ years of demand planning experience in Tier 1 or 2 companies.
  3. S&OP Experience: 3+ years of managing demand processes in an S&OP or IBP environment.
  4. Demand System Platforms: 3+ years of proficiency in demand system platforms.
  5. Customer Focus: Demonstrated customer focus and ability to drive business growth.
  6. Delivery of CI: Demonstrated delivery of continuous improvement to improve demand outcomes.
  7. Product Portfolio Administration: Experience in product portfolio administration.
  8. External and Internal Collaboration: Experience in external and internal collaboration.
  9. Influencing Communication: Demonstrated strong influencing and communication skills.
  10. MS Office Suite: Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel mandatory).
  11. Project Management: Strong project management skills and ability to engage multiple stakeholder groups.
  12. Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
