- Work in a Network Operation Centre environment, utilizing your expertise to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with our Agile development team to ensure the security of our systems and applications.
- Develop Detailed Designs and Build Instructions to ensure the security of our systems.
- Communicate effectively with technical leads and project management to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct research and rapidly learn new concepts and tasks to improve your technical knowledge and skills.
- Utilize your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve security-related issues.
- Experience in facilitating the security accreditation process within Defence.
- Strong background in network security, with knowledge of Government security frameworks such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Ability to discuss security implications from high-level and detailed designs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop pragmatic solutions to minimize security risk and ensure the security of our systems.
- Assimilate information from multiple sources to develop security documentation, including System Overview Documents, Statements of Applicability, Standard Operating Procedures, Security Risk Management Plans, System Security Plans, and Incident Response Plans.
- Establish strong relationships with certification consultants to ensure security documentation is fit for purpose.
- Work in a team environment, participate in project meetings, and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide outcomes in an environment with limited information and uncertainty.
- Effective planner with efficient time management skills.
- Current AGSVA TSPV security clearance preferred. NV2 security clearance required (with willingness to upgrade to TSPV).
