Job Overview

A pivotal role in clinical development has become available at our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the enhancement of our team's capabilities through education and training, ensuring that clinical best practice aligns with strengthened aged care standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational goals.

This position will design, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs to empower clinical teams to enhance their skills, mitigate clinical risks, and drive continuous improvement across aged care.

The ideal candidate will require flexibility and adaptability as this is a fixed-term, part-time role based in West Perth, necessitating travel to residential care homes and regional locations as needed.

About You
  • A relevant qualification in Nursing with current registration is essential
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills are paramount
  • A strong understanding of aged care clinical standards, regulations, and clinical practice is crucial
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver education programs, including competency assessments is vital
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching clinical staff to drive best practice care is required
  • Demonstrated resilience and flexibility is essential
