Product Merchandising Specialist Job

This position focuses on promoting products within a designated area to enhance the company's profitability and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product displays at various locations as per established guidelines and instructions.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, including ordering stock and securing prime display positions in stores.
  • Design innovative in-store displays during promotional periods.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports, including weekly expenses, inventory levels, and sales data.
  • Remove and replace defective or damaged products at store level.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings as scheduled by their supervisor.
  • Provide market insights on competitors and pricing surveys.
  • Maintain regular communication with their supervisor regarding performance and progress.
  • Verify stock rotation in fixtures and store reserves.
  • Fulfill stock requirements from reserves to main fixtures and off-locations.
  • Order additional stock for out-of-stock lines and promotional materials.
  • Monitor pricing labels and notify of any discrepancies.
  • Sell products through off-location hang strip displays.
  • Ensure up-to-date point-of-sale materials are placed in stores.
  • Ensure successful sell-in and ranging of new product lines.
  • Report workplace hazards to their direct supervisor and adhere to occupational health and safety policies.

Comply with all relevant policies and procedures, reporting incidents or injuries promptly to their direct supervisor.
