Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating the company's global infrastructure.

This includes data centers and servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to AWS innovations.

The Global Network Deployment organization oversees cabling infrastructure, network hardware deployment, and program management across AWS data centers worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop new concepts and operating models to deliver impactful changes in sourcing and business operations.
  • Manage individual contributor job performance.
  • Coordinate dependencies and interfaces between projects, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
  • Provide regular progress reports on program execution.
  • Ensure end-to-end success of the program through execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and support material availability.
  • Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvements, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
  • Manage material inventories for AWS data centers.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with clear documentation, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up action coordination.
