Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Strategist
to join our engineering team. This role involves designing, implementing and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform or Bicep.
As an Infrastructure Strategist, you will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation and software engineering to help build platforms that meet the evolving needs of a large-scale cloud environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform or Bicep.
Championing and building robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar.
Collaborating with software and infrastructure teams to standardize platform tooling, observability and deployment strategies.
Automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and system configurations to improve reliability and efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong technical skills, including hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services at scale and strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform or Bicep.
Additionally, you will need to have:
5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Proven expertise with CI/CD tools and practices; experience with pipelines, release management and automation.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language: Python, .NET (C#) or TypeScript.
Understanding of containerization (Docker, AKS) and modern deployment strategies (blue/green, canary etc.).
Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
