Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Compliance Assurance Partner to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the Director of Risk & Safety to establish and deliver a compliance framework that ensures our organisation adheres to relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

Your key responsibilities will include examining, verifying, evaluating, and reporting on financial, operational, and managerial processes, systems, and outcomes to guarantee financial and operational integrity and compliance.

You will also assist in business process reviews, risk assessments, developing deliverables, and reporting progress against outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with our strategic pillars and risk appetite.
  • Oversee the development and implementation by operational areas of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to our specific needs and regulatory requirements.
Governance:
  • Establish consistent reporting to the Board and Subcommittees.
  • Prepare comprehensive compliance and risk management reports for the Board.
Risk Management:
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify, analyse, and evaluate compliance risks across our organisation.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and support their effective implementation.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a risk management, audit, or consulting role gained from working within a national organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in a risk, compliance, and quality assurance function.
  • Skilled in risk management and compliance, business operations, or professional services.
  • Exposure to Governance Frameworks and interactions with Boards and Committees.
  • Experience working across wide portfolios with multiple key stakeholders in a business partnering role.
