- Evidence of exceptional teaching practice and capacity to lead the implementation of effective differentiated teaching and learning strategies that cater to a range of high-potential and gifted students, promote student engagement, and inspire innovative learning experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage, and implement whole-school improvement processes and initiatives that address school and faculty priorities.
- Demonstrated capacity to embrace and lead a faculty in the authentic use of a learning management system to meet the needs of students in an academically selective high school.
- Highly developed and visible interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to build positive relationships and promote engagement across the school community, helping to create and sustain a vibrant and positive school culture of integrity, diversity, and excellence.
- Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice.
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
- Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies.
