Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Intelligence Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our data management strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of our data quality framework, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that high-quality data is delivered to support business decision-making.

You will work closely with our Data Stewards and key stakeholders to identify data quality requirements and impacts on business processes and controls. Your expertise in data lineage, risk, and controls will enable you to make informed recommendations and drive decisions.

In this role, you will also partner with platform teams to design, test, and implement data quality solutions. You will take ownership of outcomes, driving decisions and resolving or escalating issues.

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can operate within our risk appetite and model our Group's Leadership Behaviours. If you have a proven track record of building positive and productive partnerships, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of data management, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of our data quality framework
  • Partner with Data Stewards and key stakeholders to identify data quality requirements
  • Design, test, and implement data quality solutions
  • Assess Support Unit data risk and ensure data quality is appropriately managed
  • Take ownership of outcomes, driving decisions and resolving or escalating issues

  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex concepts or problems to various audiences
  • A deep understanding of data management and its implementation in a financial institution
  • Understanding of data lineage, risk, and controls
  • Outcome-focused, with the ability to work with multi-discipline teams and the agile operating model
  • Thought leadership, decision making, and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft SQL for writing queries to perform data analysis
  • Desirable skills with Oracle and Tableau tools
