This role is for a skilled Registered Nurse who will be responsible for assessing, reviewing and providing care to residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in aged care and a strong understanding of clinical practice.
">About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of carers and providing comprehensive nursing assessments. They will also assist with the planning and implementation of nursing care for individuals and manage medication administration.
The RN will work closely with medical practitioners, family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. This is an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments to inform individualized care plans.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of nursing care for individuals.
- Manage medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Liaise with medical practitioners and family members to provide holistic care.
- At all times, provide nursing services that enhance independence, integrity and lifestyle.

Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- Previous demonstrable experience in relevant nursing field.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Aged Care legislation.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
- Ability to support a continuous improvement model.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Minimum two years' experience in an Aged Care health setting as a Registered Nurse.
