About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Workforce Officer to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that we have a trained and dedicated workforce to service the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Employee Relations and Recruitment teams to ensure effective workforce planning and development.
  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to meet the needs of our organisation and community.
  • Provide expert advice on industrial relations, employment law, and contemporary management practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of our organisational culture and values.
Requirements
  • University qualifications in a relevant field, such as human resources, industrial relations, or organisational development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial relations and contemporary management practices.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing HR teams, with a track record of success in workforce planning and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders.
  • A positive attitude to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
