About the Role
This is a highly strategic position within our organization, tasked with supporting the growth and development of GP registrars. The Registrar Liaison Officer will work closely with various teams to enhance the training experience and provide expert guidance on medical education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP registrars participating in RACGP training programs.
- Support educational initiatives by curating, updating, and adding relevant content. Respond to queries from members, staff, participants, and training organizations regarding educational materials.
- Assist the Training Programs Department with day-to-day inquiries related to medical education aspects of the program.
- Collaborate with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.
Requirements
Experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development is essential.
A minimum of six months of GP community-based training within the AGPT program is required.
Strong communication and advocacy skills are necessary for success in this role.
A passion for assisting registrars and GP training is a must.
