Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Caregiver Support Assistant to assist our elderly clients living in the community. This role is a great introduction to aged care and can be a stepping stone into a supportive services position.

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in client homes, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, promoting independence and dignity for our clients.
  • Provide support to clients with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining confidentiality and respect for their privacy.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery, fostering a team-based approach to caregiving.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity available from Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm. You will have the opportunity to salary package up to $18,550 tax-free per annum and enjoy a range of staff benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals, ensuring the safety of both clients and staff.
  • A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely, without compromising your own well-being or that of others.
  • A dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services, prioritizing the needs of our clients above all else.
