About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at Flexhive. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable Team leader with various tasks including accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, staff reimbursements, and travel reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of the accounts payable cycle, including timely processing of invoices, matching against purchase orders, processing supplier payments, reconciling supplier statements, and producing required reports.
  • Resolve invoice issues with related stakeholders.
  • Manage the accounts payable mailbox for new invoices and attend to supplier queries promptly and professionally, escalating any unresolved issues as appropriate.
  • Prepare employee reimbursements, including receipt reconciliation, travel reconciliations, and per diems.
  • Assist staff with general inquiries related to creditors, reimbursements, and general invoice status.
  • Process credit card expenses and manage receipts and reconciliations.
  • Assist with external audits for both half-year and full-year accounts.
  • Provide support to the Finance Team and other duties as required from time to time.
Requirements
  • Relevant Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience in Epicor or comparable finance ERP system would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment and have a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tight timeframes by planning and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities- strong time management skills are essential.
  • Enjoy problem-solving and seeking answers and solutions to issues.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and use discretion to determine how to best achieve the required outcomes.
