Job Description

We are seeking a Payments Operations Graduate to join our team in Sydney. As a Payments Operations Graduate, you will be responsible for the instruction and initial verification of client payments, completion of payment beneficiaries, and taking instructions from clients interacting with us offline.

The role involves a range of tasks including reconciliation of client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements sent and received across our network of bank accounts. You will also investigate unallocated and/or non-received funds, and reject or escalate as required.

In addition, you will fund client trades where manual funding is required, check and confirm the status of payments in third-party banking and payment platforms, and conduct basic updates on client information adhering to relevant processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor degree holder in business or related discipline. You should possess good communication skills, both written and verbal in English, and be proactive with the ability to work within strict timeframes and under pressure.

You should also be diligent with good attention to detail, cooperative and comfortable working in a team environment, curious and eager to learn, motivated, and business fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is nice to have but not a must.
