  • Analyze malware and detections by investigating individual customer tickets to drive improvement and efficiency.

This role will collaborate with internal teams such as Technical Account Managers, Data Scientists, and the Malware Research Center in Data Science.

The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze malware and detections by investigating individual customer tickets.

You will review current product detections to ensure they meet company standards, perform tasks to improve false positive detection management, analyze binary files for legitimacy, address internal questions and concerns regarding customer threat detections, and review Machine Learning predictions.

Exposure to different types and functionality of malware, knowledge of reverse engineering malware, general understanding of attributes of binary files such as imports/exports and packers, ability to demonstrate practical research/collection skills and analytical methods, understanding of threat/risk management and assessment, familiarity with various operating systems, knowledge of one scripting language - Python, Bash or PowerShell, ability to break down complex problems into workable components, experience with threat detections by Machine Learning, BA/BS or MA/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
