Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

 

**Housekeeping Supervisor Role Description**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping Department. This includes ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of guest areas such as change rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, reception spaces, hallways, and on-site accommodation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring the daily operation of the housekeeping department, including overseeing duties assigned to staff and monitoring the cleanliness of all Housekeeping areas daily.
  • Clean and maintain female guest change rooms, locker rooms, storage areas, and corridors to the highest standard.
  • Report/log any issues or damage to property or maintenance requests.
  • Ensure guest amenities are consistently replenished in line with Alba brand standards.
  • Always ensure the security of keys and guest lockers by adherence to security procedures.
  • Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard. Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
  • Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents, in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Step in to cover housekeeping duties when staff are unavailable to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager, and the team, to meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with administrative tasks for the team.

 

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs.
  • Guest centric, a team player, and have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills.
  • Capable, reliable, and responsible.
  • A valid visa or working rights for Australia.
