We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the development and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

About the Role:

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Develop and enforce best practices around automation, monitoring, and security to ensure a robust and scalable cloud environment.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers on cloud technologies and processes.
  • Participate in incident response and resolution activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Proficiency in Java, NodeJS, .NET Core, or Python programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
