We are seeking a seasoned Grid Connection Professional to join our team and take on the challenge of managing grid connection processes for large renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power system studies or grid connection engineering, with experience in designing and building connections that meet industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AEMO and NSP grid connection processes, ensuring compliance with industry requirements
- Assist with connection applications, providing technical input and guidance
- Collaborate with project teams to meet connection requirements and timelines
- Provide expert advice on grid connection design and project milestones
- Maintain communication with stakeholders, including AEMO, network providers, and regulators
- Resolve grid connection issues during project execution
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years experience in power system studies or grid connection engineering, preferably within NEM
- Familiarity with AEMO processes, regulatory frameworks, and tools like PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
