Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing behaviour support services, preferably within the disability or mental health sectors.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional behaviours and support needs of clients
  • Develop and implement evidence-based behaviour support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and the broader care team
  • Provide specialist behaviour support interventions and strategies to address complex behaviours and promote positive outcomes
  • Maintain detailed clinical records and contribute to continuous improvement of behaviour support services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, or a related allied health discipline
  • Demonstrated or emerging experience in behaviour support services
  • Strong clinical assessment and case formulation skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
