Exciting Opportunity for Aircraft Maintenance Professionals

This role offers a unique chance to work with specialist teams in a dynamic hangar environment, focusing on delivering exceptional engineering standards based on safety, quality, reliability, and service.

As an aircraft maintenance technician/engineer, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance and rectification tasks according to manufacturers' specifications. You will also be involved in preparing engines for shipping and receiving them into our Engine Maintenance Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting C-checks on various engine types including CFM56-7, CF6-80E1, and CF6-80C2
  • Performing full borescope inspections of engines and auxiliary power units
  • Removing, inspecting, and installing fan blades
  • Carrying out engine preservation activities
  • Receiving and preparing engines for shipping
  • Executing engine modifications such as booster replacements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical/Avionics) or equivalent Australian qualification
  • Proven experience working directly with engines, preferably with CF6-80E1, CF6-80C2, and CFM56-7 types
  • Aircraft maintenance trade qualification or equivalent under EASA or CASA regulations
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical, structures, or avionics roles within the aircraft maintenance industry
  • Extensive servicing experience on various aircraft in a maintenance environment
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and commitment to safe working practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in undertaking reasonable duties
  • High attention to detail and adherence to high ethical and behavioral standards
  • Willingness to work shift patterns and meet Visa requirements including English language proficiency
