Store Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our newly established retail store.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing store operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and driving sales performance.

  • Manage and be accountable for retail store upkeep, including inventory levels and product flow.
  • Develop strategies to raise store traffic, expand customer reach and optimise profitability.
  • Maintain a high-level customer service culture through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Lead and support a team to meet monthly site objectives and sales quotas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that store stock is sufficient and recorded levels are accurate.
  • Oversee all Store financial and operational objectives, including expense control and loss prevention.
  • Ensure optimal staffing and scheduling that meets store operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage store maintenance, repairs, and improvements to maintain a safe and clean environment for customers.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve business targets.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  4. Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
  5. Maintain accurate records of sales data, customer interactions, and staff performance.
  6. Provide coaching and training to staff to improve their sales and customer service skills.
  7. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using inventory and POS software.
