Job Title: Resource Recovery Team Leader

 

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead a team of staff at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre and rural transfer stations.

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of staff to oversee the operations of solid waste disposal, including placement, compaction, and burial of refuse in accordance with legislative guidelines.
  • Maintain access roads, signage, and traffic control.
  • Ensure all recycling areas are managed efficiently and effectively enabling safe access by the public.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvements in all facets of site operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service among staff.

 

Essential Requirements
  • Qualifications relevant to the role, such as Civil Construction or Frontline Management.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card.
  • Substantial experience relevant to the role, including leading and working effectively in a team and independently.
  • Solid time management, planning, administrative, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
