Job Title: Resource Recovery Operations Supervisor

This is a supervisory role responsible for leading landfill operations at our facilities.

The successful candidate will have experience in team management, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

We are seeking a motivated individual who can coordinate daily operations, manage staff, and maintain site infrastructure while ensuring the safe delivery of waste management services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise landfill personnel engaged in placement, compaction, and burial of refuse.
  • Maintain site infrastructure, ensure all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and assist with supervision of staff, including task delegation, monitoring performance, training, and developing teamwork approaches.

Educational Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Waste Management or related field.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card.

Essential Skills:

  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Operational knowledge of landfill operations.
  • Strong time management, planning, and administrative skills.
