University Teacher in Public Health

As a Public Health lecturer, you will play a vital role in educating and inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Your primary duties will include developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research and publishing in reputable journals, and contributing to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies. You will also participate in committee work, contribute to departmental and faculty business, and engage in community service and outreach activities. Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Teaching and researching in the field of Public Health, including developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Conducting research and publishing in reputable journals, including peer-reviewed articles and book chapters
- Contributing to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies, including course design and implementation
- Participating in committee work, including departmental and faculty committees, and contributing to departmental and faculty business
- Engaging in community service and outreach activities, including public speaking and media engagement
Qualification and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in Public Health, including a Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. You should also have a proven track record of teaching and research, including publication in reputable journals and experience in curriculum development and implementation. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
