Community Library Professional

The Library Services Coordinator role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of library services across a Shire, leading the activation of library spaces to meet user needs, and managing library assets, volunteers, and stakeholder relationships.
This includes coordinating the delivery of library programs and partnerships, as well as project and grant management skills.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification relevant to community services delivery, community development, or library and information science, and at least five years' experience in library services or similar.
You should have a high-level understanding of library principles and practices, experience in leading and organizing public library services and programs, and experience in managing/overseeing volunteer programs and development.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating the delivery of library services across the Shire
- Leading the activation of library spaces to meet user needs
- Managing library assets, volunteers, and stakeholder relationships
To apply for this role, you must have the right to work in Australia and address the advertised selection criteria demonstrating your suitability for the role.
You will also need to be suitably immunized in line with recommendations from the Australian Immunisation Handbook, mandated Public Health Orders and/or Councils Immunisation Procedure.
What We OfferThis is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week with a total remuneration package commencing at $117,458.43 gross per annum.
The package includes base salary, superannuation, leaseback vehicle, rostered day off scheme, annual award salary increases, performance reviews, salary packaging program, wellbeing initiatives, and other benefits.
