As a rotational hospital pharmacist, you will provide backup support for our pharmacy network by providing pharmacist coverage during staff leave or periods of increased demand.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
You will be based at Newcastle Private Hospital when not providing relief cover. Travel allowances, accommodation, and additional benefits will also be provided where applicable. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across a variety of pharmacy settings and access to multidisciplinary services, including oncology and clinical pharmacy.
