
Childhood Intervention Expert

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality supports to families in partnership with them to achieve their goals.
This role involves working closely with children and their families, using evidence-informed best practice to tailor support options that fit each child and family. You will empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Early Childhood/ Education and expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues. They will have a proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
You will be responsible for connecting children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose. This will involve guiding families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver supports to families in partnership with them to achieve their goals
- Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family
- Empower families, caregivers, and professionals to build skills and confidence to support children
- Connect children and families with their community to ensure inclusion and participation
- Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans
- Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood/ Education
- Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues
- Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
